outline of modules
Aurora Youth is part of Sheffield Diocese's learning programme, offering students the opportuntity to work towards the equivalent of academic level 3 or 4 (A-Level or first year degree). On completion of the course, students in Anglican churches in the Diocese of Southwark are invited to explore the option of becoming a commissioned Children, Youth or Family (CYF) Minister in their parish. This will include completing the Bishop’s Certificate in Discipleship.
Students working towards becoming a commissioned CYF minister are required to complete a number of assignments throughout the course, showing learning and understanding of each module in full. Those wanting a lighter version can complete a portfolio of learning for an Aurora Certificate.
