Mary Hawes
is an Anglican priest serving a parish in south London. Her professional life revolved around children and children's ministry in many guises - teacher, Scripture Union Editor, Cathedral Education Officer and Diocesan Children's Adviser. Most recently she was the national Children and Youth Adviser for the Church of England. Her spare time is taken up with school governor duties, reading and watching far too much low-brow TV.
