Authorisation Pathway

Those wishing to explore authorisation as a Children's Minister or Youth Minister in the Anglican Church can choose to take the Aurora Authorisation Pathway.  This requires completing all the training sessions from the previous 'Aurora course' within a 3 year window and presenting your learning through written work, group sharing or video.

Completing the required sessions doesn't automatically result in authorisation, but initiates a discernment process between you, the Children and Young People's Adviser and your local Oversight Minister / Vicar.  There will be a small cost (£200) for authorisation to cover the extra work required to assess work and process certificates etc.
